ABOUT THE POSITION
We’re looking for a strategic and creatively driven Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong design sensibility, a passion for branding and storytelling, and a collaborative spirit. You’ll lead the creation of visual assets across digital and print platforms—from social content and eblasts to menus, collateral, and brand identities. SELECT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the creative process from concept through execution
- Design compelling assets for both print and digital formats—e-blasts, menus, postcards, signage, social media graphics, logos, icons, and more
- Support the design and production of fresh, compelling assets that inspire consumers to engage and take action
- Deliver high-quality creative projects with a strong attention to detail and consistency
- Stay current on design, cultural, and digital trends—bringing fresh ideas and relevant inspiration to the team and our partners
- Cultivate your career path and actively seek professional development opportunities alongside the company
- Contribute ideas and constructive candor to evolve the work and the agency
- Brainstorm and innovate to improve company, job, and partner outcomes
- Maintain a clear understanding of each partner’s brand identity and voice
- Serve partners with care, consistency, and creativity
- Collaborate with team members across disciplines to deliver strong, integrated marketing campaigns
- Identify ways to translate creative efforts into measurable impact for the business
- Support storytelling and brand consistency across channels and touchpoints

- Engage in culture, food, and travel—becoming fluent in the personalities, products, and stories of our partners
- Help evolve and share Kinship’s own brand story through our communications, marketing materials, and digital presence
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5–7 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within an agency or fast-paced creative team
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong portfolio showcasing design excellence across digital and print formats
- Experience working with brand guidelines and contributing to brand development
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically about design challenges
- Familiarity with measurement and reporting tools
- Motion/animation skills are a plus
- Location: Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid)
- Compensation: $55,000-65,000 annually, based on experience and skillset
