About the Position
We’re looking for a creative and entrepreneurially-minded Video Content Producer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You’ll lead the charge in producing high-quality, visually compelling content that brings our clients’ stories to life. This role is perfect for a hands-on storyteller passionate about every stage of video production, from concept to delivery.
Select Job Responsibilities
• Lead social media video shoots across food & beverage, hospitality lifestyle, and event coverage, ensuring exceptional quality.
• Direct talent and models with confidence for engaging, natural shots.
• Oversee all aspects of video production, including camera operation, lighting, sound, and post-production.
• Proficiency in using professional video equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting setups.
• Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize and execute creative, brand-aligned video concepts.
• Manage the scheduling of video shoots, including coordinating with internal team members
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, target audience, and messaging requirements, and translate them into compelling video concepts and scripts
• Manage pre- and post-production tasks, including shot lists, editing, motion graphics, and asset organization.
• Edit both short and long format video deliverables using Adobe Premiere Pro; enhance with motion graphics and effects in Adobe After Effects.
• Execution of additional paid video opportunities from conceptualization to final delivery
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all deliverables.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple shoots, manage scheduling platform and meet deadlines.
• Ability to capture and convey the brand story through compelling visuals that resonate with target audiences.
• Creates and maintains content for social media networking sites, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., as well as content-sharing platforms pertinent to our partner businesses in culture, food and travel
• Understands that this is a flexible “lifestyle” job, often requiring atypical work hours
• Brainstorms and innovates to improve company, job, and partners; appreciates the big picture and complexity in decision-making
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in video production and editing, and proactively integrate new techniques and tools into our workflow to enhance the quality and impact of our content
• Tells us what we do not know with regular candor
Qualifications
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in video production with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects across various formats and platforms
• Excellent storytelling abilities and a keen eye for detail, with a track record of creating compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences
• Demonstrated expertise in cinematography techniques, including camera operation, lighting, composition, and sound recording.
• Proficiency in video editing software with advanced skills in editing and color correction
• In-depth knowledge of video production workflows, equipment, and industry standards, with a commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements and best practices
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide clear direction and feedback
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced environment
• Drone certification a plus
