Summary of Position
Kinsley is seeking a motivated and dependableRebar Shop Fabricatorto join our growing team in our Materials Division in our York, PA rebar fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and feel at ease working with machinery.
Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Ability to operate overhead cranes.
- Capable of working on elevated trailers to unload materials and apply proper rigging techniques as necessary.
- Assist workstations with material handling.
- Operate shearing and bending equipment.
- Assemble and load fabricated materials onto elevated trailers.
- Maintain work areas clean and neat.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as required.
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in basic math skills including counting and measuring.
- Capability to engage in physical activities such as bending and lifting.
- Adaptability to work in a shop environment, even under unfavorable conditions such as noise, dust, heat, or cold.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn OSHA safety regulations.
- Previous experience in a shop environment is strongly preferred.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as necessary.
