Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor animal health and behavior, recording vital signs and changes in condition
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals, including feeding, grooming, and comfort measures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, surgical areas, and equipment
- Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures
- Handle animals safely and effectively during examinations and treatments
Skills
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology to communicate effectively within the team
- Experience in veterinary critical care to manage emergencies efficiently
- Proficiency in pet care practices including grooming and handling techniques
- Familiarity with animal anatomy knowledge to assist in diagnostics and treatments

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
