An established engineering firm is looking for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer with 10 years of experience in water modeling, treatment systems, and wastewater design. Ideal candidates have a background in civil or environmental engineering and are comfortable with treatment processes that involve chemical applications.
This is a client-facing, growth-oriented role with flexibility on location (Huntsville, Birmingham, Montgomery, or Auburn/Opelika) and a hybrid schedule—3 days in office, 2 remote.

What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Ideally, you're a licensed PE in Alabama—or you're on track to get there within the next 6–12 months.
- You’ve spent at least 12 years working on water, wastewater, or environmental engineering projects, and you’ve led some of them too.
- You’re a natural problem solver who can think critically and plan creatively.
- Writing clear, accurate technical reports and memos is second nature to you.
- You’re comfortable communicating with clients, colleagues, and project partners—both in person and in writing.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with tools like EPANET, Bentley WaterCAD, or InfoWater.
- Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD (Civil 3D), or ArcGIS? Even better.
- You know your way around Microsoft Office and use it to keep things running smoothly.
Salary : $120,000 - $145,000
