We are seeking a Bilingual Dental Patient Services Representative to join our family. The Dental PSR is the first contact point for patients and visitors to our center. Under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager and the PSR Supervisor, this position is responsible for the timely and accurate recording of patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges, and payments. Cross-training is required in multiple administrative support functions, including dental records, scanning, PHI requests, and messaging to clinical and non-clinical staff.
Candidates Qualifications
1 year of office experience is preferred.
High school diploma or GED.
No licensure is required.
Certifications BLS/OSHA/HIPAA.
Fluent in Spanish, preferred

- Welcome patients and visitors to the practice with a smile, making them feel important.
- Speaks courteously, clearly, and calmly to patients in person or on the phone
- Gather, verify, and accurately enter and update any dental, medical, and insurance changes.
- Correctly notify the attending dentist and working assistants of the patient’s arrival and readiness.
- Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism
- Uses script properly as needed when on the phone.
- Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time, making patients aware of any overdue balances.
- Manage recall system.
- Confirm the next day's appointments by phone, reminding the patient of their account status.
- Willingly perform other tasks as assigned by the dentist or PSR supervisor.
