We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grant Writing Assistant Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :
Responsibilities :
- Strong writing skills, with a willingness to take feedback and constructive criticism on content and style.
- Proficiency in research and data analytics to provide supporting data for grants and identify new sources of funding.
- Ability to meet hard deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn the Smart Sheet grant documentation system and assist others in inputting their information.
- Collaboration in developing processes and workflows around evaluating grant opportunities, grant writing, grants management, identifying new sources of grant funding, and financial controls.
- Creative thinking on how funding opportunities can be used to support organizational goals and programs.
- Effective project management skills, including clear communication about grant write requirements and obtaining necessary information from internal and external sources
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned, including important tasks such as ensuring required documents are signed, notarized, and uploaded, and ensuring contracts are signed and provided to the proper departments.
