Kintsugi and Oishii Sake are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Market Manager to spearhead our sales and marketing initiatives across NY and NJ. This pivotal role focuses on engaging with key accounts, such as restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and grocery retailers, to foster robust relationships and enhance brand visibility through educational programs and promotional strategies. The successful candidate will also oversee certain distributor management responsibilities, including General Sales Management (GSM), training initiatives, and programming efforts. A genuine passion for sake and the spirits industry, coupled with exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels, is essential for thriving in this fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
Identify, target, and cultivate relationships with critical on-premise (restaurants and bars) and off-premise (liquor and grocery stores) accounts to drive sales growth and increase market penetration.
Relationship Building:
Forge and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders—aiming to build brand loyalty and bolster sales initiatives within the marketplace.
Brand Promotion:
Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to elevate brand awareness and stimulate sales through promotions, tastings, and events.
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough monitoring of market trends and competitor activities to discern growth opportunities and develop strategic recommendations for management.
Collaboration:
Partner closely with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive approach that aligns sales efforts with promotional activities and overall brand messaging.
Reporting:
Deliver regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, emphasizing achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
