Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff in the dietary department to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in catering events by preparing sushi platters that meet customer specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for restocking.
- Stay updated on food trends and techniques related to sushi preparation.
Experience
- Previous experience as a cook or in a fine dining restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols is essential.
- Experience working in a dietary aide capacity or within a catering environment is a plus.
