Kinze is currently seeking a part-time security guard to join our team in Williamsburg, IA. This employee will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel entering and exiting the facilities. This role is a part-time (<20 hours) weekend shift working Friday 8am - 4pm, Sunday 4pm - midnight, and may on occasion pick up additional shifts.
Position Duties:
• Review Security Procedures Manual
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers
• Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation
• Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
• Minimum 3 – 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems
• Have the ability to walk for extended periods of time
• Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to ride a bicycle
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Have the ability to generate incident reports and conduct daily activity logs
• Writes reports and ensures accuracy of the necessary documentation, as needed
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
• Promote safe work practices
• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property
• Comply with company core values, policies, and legal guidelines
