Lead Recreational Dance Instructor

Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor for our Recreational Dance Program, a Lead instructor to help us build a strong program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance education and a love for teaching students of all ages from 3 years old to Adult. Permanent resident of the area is a bonus as we are looking for a program assistant. This position could eventually lead into involvement into our Competitive program as well, but this position is to focus on the Recreational program and classes. Very large Adult recreational program.

Hours:

- Part time hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Possible Saturday classes if we can get enrollment. Possibly summer classes, events, and summer camps.

Duties:
- Develop and implement dance lessons and routines for students
- Instruct students on proper dance techniques, movements, and choreography
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills
- Plan and organize dance routines for performances and end of season recital
- Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive dance program

Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess some of the following skills:
- Experience working with students of all ages, including children and adults
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques
- Background in adult education or early childhood education
- Familiarity with childhood development principles
