The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $45,000 - $97,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications :
What You Will Do in this Role :
Own and execute mechanical engineering scope for material handling systemsPerform site audits to collect project and solution informationComplete the design of semi-complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls components, and softwareProvide support for specification and preparation of engineering sketches, manufacture equipment, and layout drawings, with appropriate follow-upFollow Purchase Request and Order Entry processes to purchase equipment and release assemblies for manufacturingSupport on-site installation and engineering commissioning efforts as requiredWork with team members and customer to solve problems and troubleshoot equipment on-siteRegularly report on project performance including but not limited to : on-time delivery, budget, quality, risksParticipate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfactionWhat We are Looking :
BS / BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field of engineering2-5) years of industry related experience or mechanical engineering experience preferredKnowledge of [Proficient in] CAD design software; AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or similarExperience with MS programs, Word, Excel, TEAMSStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well within a team environmentDetail orientedQuality orientedOrganization, analytical, reasoning and problem solvingMaintaining accurate and detailed recordsUnderstanding and following directionsWorking under pressure, meeting inflexible deadlines, and maintaining composureCapable of providing technical assistance to support staff and other employeesRepresent the organization as an internal contact and possibly a key external contactTravels up to 25% to customer locationsLI-DH1
