The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $106,683-$121,550 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications :
Collaborate with others to execute Verification and Validation tests related to Automated Guided Vehicles and their associated mechanics, controls, and software. Work with cross-functional teams to execute the test plans and assist in interpretation of test results. Contribute to the creation of records for the project including the final V&V report. Provide input to the Verification and Validation technical leadership including the creation of plans, procedures, and schedules. Perform Verification & Validation work that helps to demonstrate that a system is fit for its purpose and satisfies the stakeholders’ requirements. Conduct verification & validation activities, per established procedures, to demonstrate compliance with requirements. Record defects and issues found during verification and validation testing activities. Document verification & validation results. Provide information and recommend corrective actions which supports stakeholder acceptance of validation results. Complete project tasks to completion, on schedule, while maintaining quality of work. Collaborate closely, and stay aligned with, other members of the Validation team and associated groups. Learn from more experienced engineers to grow your knowledge and progress along a technical career path. Participate in training as needed to gain knowledge of products, tools, and process. Participate in technical design reviews at various stages of the program lifecycle. Perform a wide range of supporting activities and including but not limited to mentorship of junior engineers.
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or closely related field and 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Validation Engineer, Test Engineer, Integration Engineer, or closely related occupation. Requires ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification and Forklift certification. Also requires 18 months’ experience with Controller Area Network (CAN) signals; CAPL (Communication Access Programming Language) coding; Requirement review with practical experience in ISO3291-4 and ISO13849, which outline the safety requirements for industrial trucks; Software testing and writing test specifications in accordance with ISO29119-3 standards; Using AutoCAD to generate layout designs for automated vehicles; and Building testware for electrical, mechanical, and software testing purposes.
Up to 15% domestic and international travel required to various unanticipated locations. Located at Dematic Corp. in Holland, MI. Telecommuting permitted 2 days / week.
Salary : $106,683 - $121,550
