We are seeking a highly organized and friendly individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our business, providing excellent service to visitors, employees, and vendors while supporting a variety of administrative and operational needs. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of the company by greeting people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions, and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them
- Answer phone calls, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages, and delivering them within our message system
- Manage the building log of who is entering and exiting the building
- Accept deliveries and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients
- Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter
- Handle filing and data entry as requested
- Partner with the purchasing team to work with external contract building service vendors to ensure all facilities needs are functioning safety and properly
- Assist the facilities team to ensure building maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner
- Order and organize office supplies for the company
- Assist in planning and organizing company events
- Prepare and stock conference rooms for meetings and food orders when needed
- Stock break rooms
- Work on special projects when needed by various departments
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- A High school diploma or GED is required
- Prior experience in a front desk, administrative, or facilities support role is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment
- Excellent computer skills in database, spreadsheet, and word processing programs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Must be detail oriented, accurate, and organized
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor
Desired Skills:
- An Associated degree in business administration is preferred
