What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS Attendant position at Kiowa Casino?
As an essential part of Kiowa’s efforts to provide an exceptional experience at all times, effectively maintains a clean and safe environment for internal and external Guests alike, both in public and back-of-house areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP’s, and any other related training
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> Cleans lobbies, casino, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and stairways
> Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors
> Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
> Dusts furniture, artwork and picture frames
> Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
> Washes windows, door panels, and sills
> Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays
> Transports trash and waste to disposal area Replenishes bathroom supplies when needed
> Repositions chairs, tables, etc. to their original positions
> Keeps all public areas in the casino clean of any unused glasses, bottles, debris, etc. at all times
> Reports all defects in equipment, furniture, and fixtures to the EVS Supervisor or Assistant Hospitality Manager, when discovered
> Clean and dispose of biohazard waste in proper equipment when required, which may include feces, vomit, and blood
> All other duties as assigned
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)Specifics Required:
> High school diploma or GED required
> At least 21 years of age
Preferred:
> Working knowledge of the gaming industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations
Skills Required:
> Good verbal communication skills
> Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
> Accurate and detail-oriented
Abilities Required:
> Ability to maintain high confidentiality
> Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
> Ability to work cooperatively with all departments
Physical Demands / Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours. Must be able to walk, and/or stand for long periods of time. Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel. Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects. Must have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate cleaning equipment. Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. High volume, direct public contact.

Candidates for this position will be required to have dependable transportation available to them without notice. Must also maintain a Valid Driver’s License and be insurable on our company’s policy throughout your time of employment with the Kiowa Casino.
