Job Summary

THIS IS A SHARED POSITION FOR THE KIOWA CASINOS LOCATED IN CARNEGIE AND HOBART

Provides network support to operational computer networks by performing the following duties. Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware pertaining to the casino’s local area network (LAN), casino management system, point-of-sale system and other IT systems. Recommends and schedules repairs. Provides end users support for applications. Installs and configures workstations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any other related training
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> Ensures that all user workstations are properly setup and maintained, as needed
> Troubleshoots printers and individual workstation
> Sets up and maintains new users
> Maintains basic equipment associated with any IT system and / or hardware
> Performs troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems
> Installs, upgrades and configures network printing, directory structures, software and files services
> Provides users with technical support
> Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access to resources
> Installs and tests necessary software and hardware
> Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures, and to the MICS
> Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Kiowa Casino and of the IT department
> All other duties as assigned
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)

REQUIRED:
> At least 21 years of age
> High school diploma or GED
> 1 year job related experience in I.T. field

PREFERRED:
> Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations
> A Certification
> Kiowa Tribal Member or registered member of another Indian Tribe, preferred

> Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets (ability to demonstrate proficiency)
> Strong organizational skills
> Strong written communication skills
> Strong verbal communication skills
> Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
> Accurate and detail-oriented
> Strong problem solving skills

ABILITIES REQUIRED:

> Ability to work cooperatively with all departments
> Ability to manage extensive amounts of paperwork
> Ability to operate most office equipment (computer, fax, copier, etc)
> Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds daily

Physical Demands / Work Environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Will be exposed to electrical and other hazards. Will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment.

Must also maintain a Valid Driver’s License and be insurable on our company’s policy throughout your time of employment with the Kiowa Casino.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
