We have someone retiring end of February. He would test & show you the ropes
Key Requirements for Lathe Operator
CNC Machining Experience
3 to 5 years with CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator Mastercam
Expertise in turning, boring, and facing operations.
Precision and Measurement
Machine Setup & Operation
Expertise in setting up Lathes, selecting tools, and part alignment.
Cutting Tools & Materials
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
Maintenance & Preventive Care
Blueprint Reading & Part Analysis
Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and GD&T.
Communication & Teamwork
Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and management.
Clearly communicate setup changes, issues, and solutions.
Production Scheduling & Efficiency
Plan and organize work to meet deadlines.
Optimize machine time and tooling to reduce downtime.
Calibration & Alignment
Calibrate and align machine components (spindle, turret) for accuracy.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records for tooling, setups, and inspections.
Report production data, cycle times, and part quality.
