About the Recruitment Manager Role: The Recruitment Manager will be an essential part of the growing and dynamic KIPP Colorado Talent Team. The Recruitment Manager will drive regional staffing strategy by designing innovative and robust sourcing and ensuring an equitable hiring process for all candidates. The Recruitment Manager’s primary goal is to staff KIPP Colorado Schools with top-tier, diverse talent to provide all of our students receive a high-quality education.
The Recruitment Manager is a full-time, exempt administrative role reports to the Senior Director of Recruitment. This role is funded for no more than two years.

Role Responsibilities and More About How You’ll Spend Your Time in this Role
Candidate Sourcing and Cultivation
- Conduct competency based phone screens and candidate cultivation calls
- Manage and drive hiring processes with urgency and competitiveness
- Maintain accurate candidate tracking systems and candidate statuses
- Manage end-to-end applicant communications during the hiring process to ensure a professional, inclusive and positive selection experience
- Cultivate potential applicants through phone and email
- Leverage candidate database in re-engaging past applicants
- Maintain a strong and diverse talent pool of qualified active and passive candidates through a variety of creative sourcing techniques
- Implement hiring processes that balance efficiency, urgency, and equity with a positive candidate experience
- Manages recruitment partner organization relationships, as delegated
Recruitment
- Support in identifying solid and reliable recruitment and sourcing channels that yield qualified academic and administrative candidates that represent the populations within their schools
- Drive applicant numbers by networking, using LinkedIn, social media, targeted internet recruitment, and referral generation
- Build productive relationships with school-based hiring managers who are ultimately satisfied with their level of support
- Implement and suggest improvement to hiring processes that ensure a clear understanding of projected school vacancies
- Cultivate successful relationships with applicants and converting them into hires
- Implement strong support and timely hiring processes
Hiring Manager Communication
- Partner with hiring managers to identify expectations, clarify processes, provide regular updates, offer guidance on interviewing, selection, and offer process
- Support school and regional leaders in making hiring decisions and coaches hiring managers to select excellent candidates
- Meet regularly with Hiring Managers to discuss the teacher pool/vacancy progress and make changes to recruitment strategies as needed
Vacancy Tracking and Data Analytics
- Regularly review applicant and vacancy data and partner with Talent Team inform recruitment and cultivation strategy
- Report on progress regularly to hiring managers and relevant senior leaders

About Your Skills and Qualifications at the Manager Level:
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Spanish bilingual (preferred)
- 2-3 years of successful recruitment experience, ideally at a charter management organization, school district, or non-profit organization (required)
- Experience with a variety of recruitment strategies, including networking, LinkedIn, social media, targeted internet recruitment, and referral generation, and applicant tracking systems (required)
- Experience managing an applicant tracking system (required) Jaxx HR (preferred)
- A full understanding and Commitment to an Exceptional Student Experience (more about that HERE) (required)

Compensation and Benefits:
Staff retention and satisfaction is imperative for KIPP Colorado. We seek to provide competitive compensation and benefits including the following:
- Competitive Market Salary: Starting salary for this role begins at $72,000
