*Note: This is a grant-funded role from time of hire to June 30, 2028* (with possibility to extend depending on budget)
\n- Adherence to State Guidelines: Ensure all community school initiatives comply with state guidelines through detailed action plans, regular audits, and attendance at key meetings.
- Trust and Collaboration: Build a community based on trust by facilitating regular meetings with school leaders, parents, students, and community stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for community school programs.
- Community Needs Assessment: Conduct regular needs assessments and analyze data to identify and address gaps in community school programs.
- Program Efficiency: Maintain a calendar of events, track program activities and expenditures, and ensure timely submission of reports to maximize program efficiency and transparency.
- Enrichment Opportunities: Identify and integrate enrichment programs into the curriculum to expand learning opportunities for students.
- Student Support Services: Coordinate with school staff and community partners to provide integrated support services for students, ensuring their progress and success.
- Family and Community Engagement: Lead initiatives to engage families and community members in school activities, including organizing events and providing resources and support services.
- School Community Care: Anticipate and address the needs of the school community with empathy and patience, ensuring effective resolution of issues and clear communication.
- Data Accuracy and Management: Maintain meticulous and reliable records, demonstrating expertise in data management systems to streamline processes and ensure precision.
- Compliance and Integrity: Adhere to legal and organizational policies, fostering a culture of accountability and integrity in all actions and decisions.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, effectively managing complexity and embracing change.
- Organizational and Decision-Making Skills: Manage time and resources efficiently, using independent judgment to make informed decisions while staying open to feedback for continuous improvement.
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience working in an urban school setting
- Experience mobilizing groups, building partnerships with local organizations, and leveraging resources within a community
- Able to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings
- The salary range for this role is $66,560 - $86,700. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint of $67,500 - $71,000 depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budget allocated for this role.
