The Opportunity
The School Psychology Program Manager will manage, develop, observe and consult with school psychologists. They will provide consultation, manage assessment assignments and compliance at designated schools, and support with the SSPTs at designated schools. The School Psychology Program Manager will participate in staff development, program development, and innovation of special methods and approaches in the school psychology field. They will collaborate with school administrators and general staff to effectively employ the special education and trauma-informed schools programs and provide compliance expertise at assigned sites. The School Psychology Program Manager will report to the Managing Director of Student Services.
Leadership, Advocacy, Expertise
Acts as school psychology and mental health expert and “face” of the Student Services team, providing consult You’ll Be Qualified If You Have
Bachelor’s degree, required
Master’s of School Psychology degree or related field, required
PPSC (Pupil Personnel Services Credential) in School Psychology, required
Minimum 3 years of management experience of school counselors, school social workers or other school-based mental health professionals
Minimum 5 years post-Master’s degree
Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
Benefits and Compensation
KIPP SoCal Public Schools offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $79,200 to $118,800 per year. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint of $99,000 depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budget allocated for this role.
