Job Description
- Develop and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned lessons that integrate hands-on labs and experiments to foster student engagement and deepen understanding of scientific principles.
- Design and implement a variety of instructional strategies, including inquiry-based learning and age-appropriate interventions, to support the diverse needs of all learners.
- Incorporate literacy and math skills to support the core when applicable.
- Foster scientific inquiry and curiosity through hands-on experiments and activities.
- Organize and manage lab activities, ensuring student safety while promoting exploration and real-world application of scientific concepts.
- Regularly assess student learning and track progress, using data to guide instruction.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive classroom / lab environment.
- Build strong relationships with students and families, providing support for academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and improve instructional practices.
- Collaborate with core content teachers to support student growth.
- Scaffold lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including students with IEPs and ELL students.
- Actively work with academic coaches to continuously improve instructional practices, embrace feedback, and implement strategies for professional growth.
- Take ownership of your professional development by seeking out learning opportunities and reflecting on your teaching practices.

Licensed teacher starting at $50,000
