Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite sushi dishes and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure high-quality presentation of dishes
- Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning and specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi preparation area
- Monitor and manage inventory of sushi ingredients
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of traditional Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is a plus
