Shipping and Receiving Team Leader
Kirby and Holloway is a premier Delaware scrapple and sausage production facility that ships to customers throughout the Delmarva region.
We are seeking a for a dynamic team leader to oversee our shipping and receiving process.
Key responsibilities for this position are:
To ensure all outgoing and incoming shipments are accurate
Oversee a team of delivery drivers and drive if necessary
Assist with creating delivery routes
Key player with inventory control and ensure the accuracy of on hand stock
Ensure that the warehouse is properly organized and sanity conditions maintained
Ensure the warehouse is running effectively and efficiently
Key Requirements are:
Previous experience with managing processes and leading a team
A valid driver’s license, along with a good driving record
Must be self-directed and task oriented
High level of attention to detail.
Must be a flexible team player
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency
Think strategically to overcome challenges
