Overview Provide shoreside support to vessel crewmembers regarding all aspects of their operation. Responsibilities
- Provide managerial oversight for all activities associated with the Vessel and crew performance of assigned vessels.
- Represent Kirby at industry committee meetings and seminars.
- Participate in incident response and review.
- Attend and assist in internal audits of vessels.
- Review, document, and respond to Sales, Traffic, and customer issues.
- Participate in various meetings and training seminars. Qualifications
- Working knowledge of towing industry.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, personal computer, company vehicle and ERT boat.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Tankerman License and USCG OUTV License or equivalent preferred. Experience : Required 2 years : Minimum two years' experience in the towing industry.
Pr i or management experience required.
Tankerman License and USCG OUTV License or equivalent preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS : Travel required and On-call on a rotating basis.
