Patient Assistant Quick Care PRN

Location: Monticello, Illinois

Shift: Day/Evening shift

Schedule: Various as needed

Job Summary: Position available for Patient Assistant at Kirby Medical Group working one shift per week or more in any of the Kirby Medical Group locations: Atwood, Cerro Gordo or Monticello. Primary position is Monticello-Quick Care but could include rotation in Monticello Primary Care, Atwood and Cerro Gordo locations. Provides clerical & clinical support. Greets patients, answers phones, measures & records vital signs, rooms patients & escorts them to other hospital locations, assists providers and various other duties assigned by nursing or by provider. An ideal candidate for this position is energetic, takes direction well, and enjoys doing different tasks each day.

Regulatory Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.

Skills:

• Ability to multi-task.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
