Location: Monticello, Illinois
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with Saturday rotations
Job Summary: Pharmacy technician will serve patients in any Kirby Rx location. Technician will assist the Pharmacist in filling provider orders for all applicable formulations (oral, topical, etc.). Technicians are expected to answer phone calls, service drive through, complete sales transactions, and provide outstanding customer service consistent with KMC standards.
Essential Functions:
- Utilizes pharmacy software for daily operations which includes prescription filling, billing, and record keeping
- Manage 340B program functionality
- Perform order entry
- Maintain drug, OTC, and supply inventory along with daily reordering
- Utilize and manage point of sale drawers
- Serve as a drug information resource and pharmacy liaison for providers, residents, patients, and staff in appropriate units/departments

Requirements
Education/Regulatory Requirements:
- Current technician certification or licensure in the State of Illinois preferred
- One year of experience preferred
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Automated pharmacy systems, non-sterile compounding or the willingness to learn
