This position ensures customer orders are processed efficiently and completed per specifications while insuring inventory accuracy. Adheres to operating procedures and safety standards and complies with facility productivity and quality standards. Demonstrates team spirit through flexible support of cross-department functions, ensuring timely completion of daily workload. You will have the opportunity to operate various types of material handling equipment regularly.
Primary responsibilities include: · Picking or cutting orders by use of RF scanner · Palletizing orders and dock staging of wire reels · Breaking down, bundling, and moving lifts of conduit · Loading and unloading full truck-load semi’s, box trucks, and flatbed trailers · Performs department or functional tasks while maintaining standards of quality and productivity · Scorecard rating- meets standard or above
Primary requirements include: · High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Cross Training in Yard and Wire Aisle · Reach Truck or Sit-down Forklift experience preferred · Scorecard rating- meets standard or above
Physical requirements include:
Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. individually
Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 85 lbs. with assistance
Ability to handle 20 ft. of various material with equipment
Ability to walk warehouse floor and climb ladder up to 15 feet to pull material, bend, stoop, reach and shift positions frequently
Ability to perform and retain various skill related training and operations
