Manufacturing Engineer
Due to growth in our manufacturing division, we have a prime opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer at the Kirby Risk Service Center in Griffin, GA, who can work as a team member and support customers directly to provide the best solution resolve manufacturing issues.
Training: This position requires a 90-day training period at the Kirby Risk Service Center location in Lafayette, IN. Extended stay hotel accommodations and travel expenses provided during training period.
Primary Responsibilities:
Communication with organization leadership, internal customers, and external customers
Build’s customer products from prints to customer specification
Analyzes customer requirements and provides customer with the best solution in the most cost-effective manner
Create and review work instructions and visual aids for use in production
Assists with implementation of new products projects and helps establish production processes
Develop customer relationships to:
Uncover opportunities for additional projects
Collect and report customer comments and complaints
Establish and maintain relationships with key buying influences
Assist production associates with new builds

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technical field
Strong ability to read and interpret prints and electrical schematics.
Recognize the importance of developing and maintaining relationships with customers
Demonstrate professionalism when representing the company
Possess excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Excellent computer skills and aptitude
Experience with SolidWorks or similar preferred.
Hours and Travel: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday. Travel to customers as necessary for service trips.
