What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse position at Kirby Risk?
This Warehouse Level I position ensures customer orders are processed efficiently
and completed per specifications while insuring inventory accuracy. Adheres to operating procedures and safety standards and complies with facility productivity and quality standards. Demonstrates team spirit through flexible support of cross-department functions, ensuring timely completion of daily workload. You will have the opportunity to operate various types of material handling equipment regularly.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Fulfills orders accurately in preparation for shipments by use of RF scanner
· Records all materials received, inspect shipments and reconcile packing slip or manifests with actual items.
· Palletizing orders and dock staging
· Performs department or functional tasks while maintaining standards of quality and productivity.
· Scorecard rating- meets standard or above
Primary requirements include:
· High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
· Warehouse experience required
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Forklift operation required
· Cross Training in Yard and Wire Aisle
Physical requirements include:
· Ability to walk warehouse and climb ladder up to 15 feet to pull material
· Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to perform and retain various skill related training and operations
· Walk warehouse floor, Bend, stoop, reach and shift positions frequently
· Ability to stand and work with arms at or above shoulder height for extended periods of time
