Part-Time Warehouse Associate will be eligible for 20 hours a week. If so, we have an opening for a Part-Time Warehouse Associate in Lafayette. You must be able to do the following:  Accepts, unloads, and verifies quantities and condition of incoming shipments. Inputs received material information into computer. Follows warehouse paperwork procedures to ensure the accuracy of information. Files freight claims, processes damaged, and return items as necessary. Communicates receiving variances promptly to the manager. Conducts inventory or cycle counting according to company policy. Moves received materials to storage or staging areas as directed by computer ticket. Makes sure the warehouse is well maintained, shelves are stocked and organized, and products are correctly displayed. Continuously improves warehouse processes to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and company efficiency. Requirements include: High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience 1 year of warehouse experience Ability to push-pull carry up to 50 lbs. Walk the warehouse floor Climb Ladder up to 15 feet to pull material Ability to stand and work with arms at or above shoulder height for extended periods   Stand for extended periods. Bend, stoop, reach and shift positions frequently Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; Use hands repetitively to operate, finger, handle or feel standard equipment; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
