Rental Sales Representative Position Purpose
Responsible for taking all actions necessary to secure and maintain market share and rental volume level in an assigned territory.
Rental Sales Representative Essential Functions
Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One GoalEfficiently organizes time and information to maximize effectivenessObtains and maintains an elevated level of understanding of marketing and finance programs.Prepares quotes outlining features, benefits, and any available financing programsAchieves and maintains excellent product knowledge through sales schools and self-studyDevelops and continues to improve interpersonal and sales skills through continuous professional developmentEstablishes and maintains personal relationships with customers by determining customer needs and the best way to satisfy those needsStudies and maintains knowledge of competition machines, finance, and marketing programsActs as Liaison between KSMI and customers in all aspects of customer relationsEnsures that all aspects of Sales and Rental transactions are correct and completed on timeCompletes all required paperwork accurately and on timeConducts all contracts and transactions in an ethical and professional mannerIdentifies prospects in the territory and works on developing and enlarging the customer base in the territoryMaintains communication and advises management of all changes in the territoryConsistent and reliable on-site attendancePerforms other job-related duties as assignedRental Sales Representative Qualifications
High School Education with some post-secondary education preferredThree (3) years of construction equipment sales experienceExceptional interpersonal skills and excellent communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to organize and manage time effectivelyProficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applicationsAdept at organizing, planning, and task completion to manage a high volume of department paperworkRental Sales Representative Physical Requirements
