This is a hands-on position that requires individuals to operate assembly equipment, load/unload parts, perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations, and ensure quality and quantities meet required specifications. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, follow standard operating procedures, and maintain a safe working area.
Responsibilities
- Operate assembly equipment, including welders, presses, crimpers, and riveters
- Load/unload parts in/out of dies, trunions, and/or assembly fixtures
- Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required
- Ensure quality and quantities meet required specifications
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, and maintenance instructions
- Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to work overtime for shifts of up to 12 hours per day, seven days a week
