This Assembly Production Technician role involves setting up and operating assembly equipment, following work instructions, and ensuring quality and quantities of parts meet required specifications and production rates. The ideal candidate will have no minimum experience and possess the ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, and other documents.

This Assembly Production Technician role involves setting up and operating assembly equipment, following work instructions, and ensuring quality and quantities of parts meet required specifications and production rates. The ideal candidate will have no minimum experience and possess the ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, and other documents.
Key Accountabilities:
- Setting up and operating assembly equipment as assigned.
- Following work instructions as outlined in Standard Operation Sheets (SOS) and Job Element Sheets (JES).
- Loading/unloading parts in/out of welders, dies, trunions, and/or assembly fixtures.
- Operating equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and/or rivets together parts and/or sub-assemblies.
- Performing manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.
Required Skills:
- No minimum experience is required.
- Ability to read and demonstrate understanding of documents such as safety rules, work instructions, maintenance instructions, employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to apply basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; ability to round numbers and calculate averages.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and sound judgment to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
