In this pivotal role, you will leverage established relationships, uncover new opportunities, and build lasting partnerships with investors, institutional owners, brokers, and healthcare leaders. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of SKMM, your work will directly contribute to the growth and success of SKMM’s portfolio of premier healthcare real estate assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, securing new business opportunities.
- Cultivate strong relationships with high-level decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Identify potential projects in the early planning stages (RFP/RFQ), gather market intelligence, and contribute to winning proposal strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of SKMM on strategic initiatives, marketing efforts, and client presentations.
- Lead and contribute to proposal responses, presentations, and RFP/RFQ submissions.
- Create compelling value propositions and assist in the development of marketing materials.
- Drive business development efforts from prospecting through deal closure—both independently and collaboratively.
- Cross-sell SKMM’s services to maximize client value and revenue potential.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Represent SKMM at key industry events, conferences, and networking functions (e.g., BOMA Medical, Revista).
- Identify acquisition opportunities related to operating companies and real estate assets.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects and market data in CRM (HubSpot) and provide regular sales performance reports.
- Regularly engage with internal teams, sharing insights and collaborating on business growth strategies.
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial real estate property management, preferably with a focus on healthcare (but not required).
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field (MBA or graduate degree preferred).
- Established network of relationships with property owners, developers, investors, and institutional owners.
- Proven record of business development success, revenue generation, and deal closure.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and ability to execute with minimal supervision.
- High energy, competitive mindset, and a collaborative, positive approach.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred), strong analytical skills, and adept at using data for strategic decisions.
- Active participation in relevant industry and professional organizations is a plus.
