As a Watchmaker at Kirk Jewelers, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining luxury timepieces, ensuring each piece is restored to its highest quality and functionality. Your expertise will be vital in supporting our customers' needs, particularly with iconic brands such as Rolex and Patek Philippe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform expert servicing, overhauls, and repairs on high-end watches.
- Execute detailed watch polishing to restore the aesthetic quality of watches, bringing them back to their original brilliance.
- Carry out battery replacements for quartz watches with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections to ensure that each timepiece meets Kirk Jewelers’ high standards of craftsmanship and performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are in top working condition.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and provide technical insights to help meet customer needs and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in watchmaking and repairs, specifically with high-end luxury timepieces such as Rolex and Patek Philippe.
- Certification from Rolex or experience working with Patek Philippe is highly preferred.
- Expertise in polishing and servicing a wide range of luxury watches.
- Ability to perform precise battery replacements on various types of watches.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- In-person work location at our Brickell City Centre boutique in Miami.
