This full-time permanent position is Monday through Friday, one shift, in a modern, climate-controlled production facility. As a privately owned company with over 50 years of experience in the mailing, packaging, card, and RFID industries we offer an excellent benefits package.

Position: Painter - Sheet Metal Department
Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation and Painting:
- Ensure all parts entering the paint booth are thoroughly washed, dried, cleaned, and inspected for optimal surface preparation and a quality finish.
- Operate High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) equipment to apply industrial enamel paint, adhering to specifications to maintain high-quality standards.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of painting equipment to ensure optimal performance and prolong equipment life.
Quality Control:
- Monitor paint thickness and coverage to achieve desired finishes, ensuring adherence to strict quality control standards.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration and Process Improvement:
- Work closely with team members to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the painting process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs within the Sheet Metal Department.
- Engage in cross-training efforts to gain versatility in various operational areas of the company, enhancing departmental flexibility and support.
Development and Leadership:
- Assist in the training and development of new team members, particularly in learning the specifics of Kirk-Rudy machinery, including the appropriate doors and covers for each machine.
- Learn advanced finishing techniques to demonstrate leadership potential and prepare for future promotional opportunities.
