Job Summary:
The Grants and Marketing Coordinator supports the Executive Director in advancing the mission of the Kirkland Arts Center by managing grant applications, maintaining the organizational calendar, coordinating donor relations, and overseeing marketing and social media efforts. This position requires strong writing, organizational, and digital communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grant Writing and Management:
- Research and identify grant opportunities relevant to the organization.
- Assist the Executive Director in preparing and submitting grant applications.
- Track grant deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
- Maintain accurate records of grant activities and reporting requirements.
- Marketing and Communications:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase community engagement and visibility.
- Create and distribute digital and print marketing materials, including brochures and the annual report.
- Assist with content creation, graphic design, and layout using Adobe products.
- Maintain the organization’s website with updates on events and news.
- Donor Relations and Administrative Support:
- Utilize Little Green Light to manage donor data, track contributions, and generate reports.
- Use Greater Giving to support event planning and donor engagement.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between the Executive Director and donors.
- Manage the organizational calendar, including grant deadlines, events, and key dates.
- Assist the Executive Director with scheduling, correspondence, and special projects.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and track engagement metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with the Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva.
- Experience with Little Green Light and Greater Giving platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in grant writing, marketing, donor management, or nonprofit administration preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
