Job Overview:
Our dental practice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee patient care, staff management, and administrative operations. Key Responsibilities:Patient Management:
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling to optimize efficiency.
- Handle patient registration and maintain accurate records.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism.
- Process patient billing, oversee accounts receivable, and manage insurance claims, including aging reports and follow-ups.
Staff Management:
- Foster teamwork and motivate staff to enhance performance.
- Create and maintain a professional and supportive work environment.
- Provide training and guidance to improve workflow and patient care.
Administrative & Financial Management:
- Oversee financial operations, including budget planning and revenue cycle management.
- Monitor and manage aging accounts, ensuring timely collections and minimizing outstanding balances.
- Manage inventory and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and liaise with vendors for service needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and office policies.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and support staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with patients, insurance companies, and external partners.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for patient acquisition and retention.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Office Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of dental operations, billing, insurance processing, and aging accounts management.
- Excellent organizational, managerial, and leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in dental management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in dental, medical, business administration, or related fields.
- Experience managing aging reports, collections, and revenue cycle optimization.
- Familiarity with state and federal dental regulations and compliance.
