Overview
The E-Commerce Photographer is responsible for operating professional camera systems and managing digital workflows for E-Commerce photography. Oversees studio equipment including professional lighting systems, digital capture station, and post-production infrastructure. Maintains strict technical standards for image quality, color accuracy, and file specifications while ensuring consistent output across all product categories for web and marketing use.
Responsibilities
- Keeping E-Commerce studio equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, products/props clean, organized, inventoried, and maintained.
- Partners with E-Commerce team for efficient product sample workflows, maintaining organized pull/return protocols and digital tracking.
- Implements troubleshooting protocols for technical issues including capture systems, network storage, and lighting control interfaces.
- Research and keep updated with industry trends and developments.
- Primary focus on Silo photography that supports all initiatives, ensures brand consistency, Silo guidelines and image quality control.
- Process images: crop, clip, color correct, manipulation and resizing.
- Provide consistent professional headshots for the corporate office.
- Apply advanced photographic expertise in lighting, composition, and digital workflow to create compelling imagery aligned with brand standards.
- Supports on-location photo shoots, maintaining consistent technical standards across studio and field environments.
- Technical expertise, creativity, and composition skills to be utilized to create images that will ultimately portray Kirkland’s brand and increase sales.

Qualifications
- Proven use of creativity with an eye for product styling, lighting and composition
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines at one time
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- Detail oriented, flexible, resourceful with a can-do attitude
- Strong organizational skills while paying close attention to details
- Working knowledge of photography equipment and editing software: Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other editing software.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Required: Two-year degree in Digital Photography, Art, or Design Communications OR related field and 3-5 years’ experience in photography
- Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
