Outdoor Maintenance Crew Member
The Kirkwood School District Buildings & Grounds Department is hiring an Outdoor Maintenance Crew Member.
Job Duties include:
Repair and maintain outdoor areas of the school district, including lawns, athletic fields, plantings, irrigation systems, street and
parking lot signs, pavements and playgrounds. Providing the services associated with the repair, maintenance, and
improvement of the exterior grounds and equipment of all district facilities. As needed provide labor and transportation
services to support other district departmental operations for the Kirkwood School District.
Job Requirements include:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- One or more years of equivalent or related experience (3 or more preferred)
- Current driver's license
- Must work in varying inclement weather conditions
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Ability to work from heights
- Must be capable of performing strenuous work
- Potentially subject to fumes, bodily fluids, and toxic substances
This is a full-time,12-month position, with benefits, including medical, dental, & vision insurance, enrollment in the PEERS retirement system, a robust Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and more.
Pay starts at $18.52 per hour, dependent on relevant experience.
