Duties
- Assist patients in choosing the right eyewear based on their prescriptions and personal preferences.
- Measure patients' facial features to ensure proper fit of glasses and contact lenses.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and prescription details.
- Process orders for eyewear, including lenses and frames, and manage inventory levels.
- Provide education to patients regarding eyewear care, usage, and adjustments.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Handle medical billing and coding tasks as required, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical billing and coding is highly desirable.
- Strong background in retail sales to enhance customer interactions.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring may be beneficial in a healthcare setting.
- Experience or knowledge in senior care practices is a plus.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records efficiently.
- Familiarity with Epic software for managing patient information is advantageous.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
