We are currently seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join Kirtland Credit Union! This is a regular, full-time, position based at our Gibson Branch in Albuquerque. It will initially be 100% on site with the possibility of hybrid schedules after employment.

This is what we would like you to do:
Responsible for reviewing and verifying all personal, business, and organization deposit account opening and systems maintenance for proper coding and support documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with credit union policies, procedures, regulations, rules, and legal requirements, and ensuring all related documentation is properly stored and retained. Provide support and back up of other functions within Risk Management area.
Primary Job Duties:
- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of the deposit quality assurance function.
- Review and verify all new deposit account openings for proper coding to core system, forms, and support documentation for a variety of account types and titling.
- Provide verification on account maintenance for proper coding to applicable systems, forms, and support documentation for a variety of deposit account types and titling.
- Provide verification of signature cards and required documents on all deposit account types ensuring that compliance requirements, including BSA / U.S.A. PATRIOT Act requirements, are met.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
- Stay abreast of new, changing, or eliminated regulatory and/or law requirements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of required forms, documents, procedures to be current and compliant.
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus
Experience Required:
- Three years of related experience in a Financial Institution working in Retail, Deposit Processing or New Account Services is a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of all applicable banking rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of deposit account software systems is plus
