Job Description
The Lead Life Enrichment Assistant @ The Cardinal assists with the promotion of a healthy, activity-enriched lifestyle for residents and associates through the planning and implementation of the community Art of Living Well program. Responsible for implementing all aspects of Kisco’s Art of Living Well SM philosophy and the multi-dimensions of Art of Living Well (through purposeful interaction with residents; including planning and facilitating classes, coordinating events and outings, and assisting with transportation.
Schedule: Full Time /Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:15pm weekends & evening rotationsPay Range: $25 - $27

What will I do every day?
- Assist Art of Living Well Director to provide programs that meet the emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational needs of the residents and associates
- Create opportunities to exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Support the creation of a monthly calendar of events encompassing The Art of Living Well SM and the 6 dimensions of Art of Living Well based on current resident’s needs, passions, interests, and abilities.
- Coordinate programs related to the interests and needs of the current residents and the surrounding community at large.
- Promote resident and staff attendance, participation, and engagement in alldimensions of the community Art of Living Well programs.
What will I need to be successful in this role:
• Strong problem-solving skills for analyzing difficult situations and finding effective solutions• Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
- Associate degree preferred
- Two to four years’ experience with developing and implementing Art of Living Well programs, preferably for seniors
- Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record
- If responsible for creating exercise prescriptions and evaluating resident’s ability to participate in physical dimension of programs, appropriate certificate, or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment, is required
- Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within reasonable time ofemployment (as required)
- First Aid Certification/ willing to obtain one
