We are seeking talented and team oriented Transportation Manager to join our luxury senior living community, Balfour at Riverfront Park, located in one of the trendiest areas of downtown Denver. Schedule: Full time
Pay: $54,300-$58,000
The Transportation Manager will be responsible for scheduling of the individual transportation needs of our residents. In this position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to pay close attention to the details and showcase your outstanding communication, customer service, organizational and problem-solving abilities. You will be the initial point of contact for transportation concerns and to resolve issues. This position will also assist with transporting residents when needed.
What will I do every day?
- Scheduling rides for residents that may include transportation to and from medicalappointments and/or errands and communicating the confirmation details to the resident(s)
- Communicating daily transportation schedule to transportation team, including revisions(add- ons/cancellations) to drivers at the beginning and throughout the day
- Assisting with updating processes & systemsfor the Transportation department as needs change
- Coordinate driver training as needed
- Maintain and coordinate regular maintenance and cleaning schedule for vehicles
- Drive residents to and from appointments and/or errands as needed as acting driver on the team.
- Promote resident attendance and participation in all Wellness Programs
- Monitor general maintenance and overall safety of vehicles
- Assist in setting up/tearing down Wellness and community events as needed
What will I need to be successful in this role?
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One to two years’ experience as a driver (preferably with seniors)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Special Requirements/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record
- Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment (as required)
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle (town car and 15 passenger van)
- First Aid Certification or willing to obtain one
