Summer Intern, Retail Engagement Digital Commerce

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intern to support e-commerce growth by enhancing retail engagement, optimizing online presence, and driving strategic initiatives across major retail platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and DTC channels. This role will focus on supporting and executing e-commerce fundamentals, ensuring seamless digital asset planning and execution, and utilizing data-driven insights to improve online sales performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to maintain data accuracy, analyze competitive landscapes, and implement best practices that enhance the consumer shopping experience on-line.

Job Description

We are looking for passionate college or university students who are currently enrolled or will be enrolled in Fall 2025, majoring in a relevant field. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work 36 hours per week (Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 5:30 PM). The program will run for no more than 12 weeks, with a minimum commitment of 6 weeks.

• Maintain digital assets, product attributes, and launch timelines to ensure seamless execution across retail and DTC platforms.
• Order product samples for new product launches and promotional cycles to ensure delivery prior to photo shoots.
• Create and manage creative briefs for digital content creation, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, retail requirements, and timelines.
• Organize and manage assets within Salsify, ensuring accurate mapping of images, copy, and videos to the appropriate SKUs.
• Support e-commerce operations by managing product listings, inventory, and sales performance on platforms like Walmart Marketplace.
• Analyze search performance and competitor activity to identify SEO and content optimization opportunities.
• Work with team members to review retail scorecards to enhance product pages by managing copy, content, and ratings & reviews to increase scorecard ratings.
  
  

Knowledge/experience, Skills, Ability & Attitude

• Excellent Communication Skills: Proficiency in both written and verbal communication is essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel: Strong command of excel including advanced functions and data analysis capabilities is required to interpret large datasets for reporting. Power BI preferred.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues, propose solution and drive initiatives forward to achieve objectives.

The anticipated compensation range is

18.00 - 30.00 USD Hourly

Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
