Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technician to join our dynamic cardiology team at Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital. The Echo Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions. This role requires a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, excellent technical abilities, and the capacity to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered at the discretion of the hiring manager. A valid Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an echocardiography technician is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply. Proficient in operating echocardiography equipment and demonstrate a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills are essential to ensure accuracy and quality in patient care. The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy is necessary. Must be BLS Certified.
