Responsibilities:
- Install laminate flooring according to print specifications and work order.
- Measuring and cutting materials to fit specific areas
- Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.)
- Follow all OSHA regulations and other mandatory safety requirements related to mandatory tie off policies and personal protective equipment.
- Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other company employees.
Requirements:
- - Any previous flooring experience is a plus - please list this experience in your application:
- The ability to work successfully both individually and with a team environment.
- Must be able to climb, bend, and carry a large load of 50 pounds during an 8( ) hour shift.
- High accuracy in work and attention to detail
- Safe use pneumatic and power tools
- Regular attendance is a critical part of all positions at KIT. Must be available to consistently work the required business hours without tardiness, interruption, or early departure, as well as any required Saturday or later evening overtime.
