Kitch Attorneys & Counselors is looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join our defense-oriented firm as a Paralegal for our busy Litigation Team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel and willing to learn our document management system. You will also need to be able to multitask effectively and thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment. Strong time management and organization is a must.
Paralegal Responsibilities:
- Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system
- Meeting with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to talk about case details
- Review & summarize medical records & pleadings
- Corresponding with clients re: settlements, quarterly reports, Complaints, etc
Paralegal Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Office administration experience
- 2-5 years' experience as a Paralegal (Preferred)
