We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This position combines warehouse responsibilities with driving duties, ensuring that products are efficiently stored, managed, and delivered to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in both warehouse operations and driving, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Manage inventory in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and organizing products.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move goods safely.
- Prepare orders for delivery by packing items accurately and efficiently.
- Drive a box truck or van to deliver products to designated locations.
- Follow established routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and delivery processes.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Must be able to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
