The Midwest premiere manufacturer of freshly prepared vending and convenience store foods has full-time Sanitation openings on 2nd Shift.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for daily cleaning of all production and outer areas of the plant. You will work in a team environment cleaning, sanitizing equipment, facility walls, floors and tables as required on a daily basis. Sanitation staff utilizes foamers, floor scrubbers and basic hand tools as well as completing USDA and FDA paper work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Use approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces
- Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment
- Dispose of waste along the assembly line
- Sweep and mop the floors
- Dust ventilation ducts to ensure proper airflow
- Report potential issues to management
- Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to communicate and read labels in English (Bilingualism a plus)
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- This position requires the employee to stand for the duration of the shift (6-9 hours)
- Occasional Pushing/Pulling up to 40 pounds
- Occasional Reaching above shoulder level
- Continuous repetitive arm, wrist, and hand
- Must occasionally lift and / or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
